The safety and security department of the Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino de Cebu (BMSN) conducted a criminal profiling seminar at the Colegio del Sto. Nino (CSN), December 19, Thursday afternoon.

Alem Saga, BMSN safety officer, said that the Basilica conducts seminars like Criminal Profiling every year as part of the preparation for the upcoming Fiesta.

This is to gain more knowledge and refresh the learnings of our security personnel and volunteers in handling emergencies.

The speaker from the Cebu City Intelligence Branch Police Major Randy Caballes, participated in sharing information to our volunteers, security personnel and other safety officers about security measures and the importance of attentiveness and being observant to suspicious people especially during big events like the upcoming fiesta senior.

Police Major Randy Caballes said that the public can also help our securities in preventing emergencies by reporting to the nearest station if they see suspicious people in the neighborhood or especially during Sinulog.
