To widen the knowledge and expand the existing platforms, the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño de Cebu (BMSN) Media Centre participates in the 5^th National Catholic Media Convention held last August 6-9, 2019 at Batangas City.

The 4-day event was filled with learning and insights on how the Catholic Media should maximize the new media and incorporate new strategies for New Evangelization.

Bishop Mylo Vergara, outgoing Director of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Episcopal Commission on Social Communications, emphasized to the participants to remember and realize their roles as part of the Catholic Media.

NCMC is the biggest gathering of Catholic Media practitioners in the country and this year’s goal is to be more effective in making online communities an occasion of communion or engage people from social network to human community. /SMG
