A new Cofradia Chapter was established in Guipos, Zamboanga del Norte last June 27, 2018 in time for the canonical erection of the parish.

45 new members of the Cofradia del Sto. Nino de Cebu – Mother of Perpetual Parish Chapter were installed whose primary objective is to promote the devotion to the Holy Child Jesus, the Sto. Nino.

The officers of the Cofradia were sworn into office by Rev. Fr. Mark Anthony Tampos, OSA, Parish Priest and Spiritual Director.

Moreover, the creation of the new chapter in Mindanao marks a historical event for the parish in time for being declared as a new parish.

The Augustinians accepted the mission in Guipos as Ad Experimentum of two years.
