Hermandad del Sto. Niño de Cebu launches Coffee-Table Book

Hermandad del Sto. Niño de Cebu, a new mandated organization of the Basilica established in 2018, had launched a coffee-table book on the Feast of St. Augustine, August 28, 2019, at the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño de Cebu.

The Hermandad is a lay organization, whose members are the previous and current hermanos and hermanas of the Fiesta Señor every January.

According to Rev. Fr. Ric Reyes, the co-edit of the coffee-table book, “Hermandad was created to consolidate and, faithful to the spirit of their service which is not bound by annual passing of responsibilities from the outgoing and the incoming, allow them to continue helping the Basilica not only about the fiesta but for other socially-bent and spiritually nourishing programs and apostolates of the church.”

Rev. Fr. Pacifico Nohara, OSA, rector, extended his message of gratitude to the members for their continuous support to the different projects in the Basilica and unwavering service during the Feast of the Sto. Niño.

The coffee-table book was published to honor its members and also contains their stories of religious experience in their devotion to Señor Sto. Niño de Cebu.

This will be a biennial publication published by the Hermandad del Sto. Niño de Cebu.
