Today’s Gospel

As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. Remain in my love! You will remain in my love if you keep my commandments, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.

I have told you all this, that my own joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete.

Today’s Reflection:

Jesus tells of the love He and his Father has with each other and how He shares this love with us. As a consequence, He finds joy and happiness in sharing His love with us. Thus, He calls us to love also so that we will find joy in loving. Love will make us joyful people. From these thoughts, let us reflect on the following questions – Are we joyful in our own personal lives? Are we happy people? Do we find joy in loving others? Do we find joy in doing acts of charity? Let us strive to find a “Yes” answer to all these questions in order for us to fully be happy in the kind of Love that Jesus imparts us with. /Vulnerasti, 2022
