Gospel: Lk 11: 27-28

As Jesus was speaking, a woman spoke from the crowd and said to him, “Blessed is the one who gave you birth and nursed you!” Jesus replied, “Truly blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it as well.”
Today’s Reflection:
Mary is blessed not only because she was the bearer of the Good News but because she also listened and obeyed God. In the Gospel, Jesus emphasized the importance of listening and fulfilling the will of God. The blessed virgin became the mother precisely because she listened and obeyed the will of the Father. The Blessed Virgin Mary is a model for all followers of the Lord. She brought the Blessed One into the world. We, too, can be a blessing to our brothers and sisters. Like Mary, let us listen and obey God’s will so that we can bring Jesus to the world. /Vulnerasti, 2023
