The Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino de Cebu will once again celebrate this year the feast of St. Augustine, to whom the Basilica is formerly dedicated to. St. Augustine of Hippo is the spiritual founder of the Order of St. Augustine (Augustinians), who had lived from 345-430 AD.

The Augustinians, meanwhile, are the caretakers of the Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino since its foundation in 1565. It is only joyful to celebrate his feast.

There will be a mass on his feast day at 5:30 p.m. at the Church of the Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino de Cebu.
