454th Kaplag commences at Magellan’s Cross
In line with the 454th Kaplag celebration, a holy mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Pacifico C. Nohara, OSA, Rector of the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño de Cebu, at the Magellan’s Cross on April 25, Thursday afternoon.
Fr. Nohara in his homily, opened about how our Catholic faith was born in this very city (Cebu), in this very spot (Magellan’s Cross). He went on to say that as long as the Sto. Niño is with us, we need not worry about anything else for He shall answer to all our needs and prayers.
“Ang Sto. Niño nga maoy bato balani sa gugma, maoy hari sa tanan, maoy gamhanan sa tanan, maoy tag-iya natong tanan. Kung unsa man ang dagan sa atoang kinabuhi, musalig… kita kaniya og iya kita matabangan.”
