The Basilica’s Lectors and Cantors Ministry (LCM) had their community outreach program in Uling, Naga City, Cebu last May 1, 2019, Labor Day.

Instead of taking the holiday a rest, the LCM volunteers went to the remote area in Naga City to give school supplies and food for more than 100 children. At least more than 20 volunteers together with their spiritual director, Rev. Fr. Ric Anthony Reyes, OSA, travelled from Cebu City to give joy to the children carrying the theme of “Labor of Love for Education”.

After the gift-giving in their community outreach program, the group also had their team building activity to strengthen friendship among each members.
