Mama Mary of Lindogon in Simala to visit his Son, Señor Sto. Niño at the Basilica on April 28-29, 2017.

On April 28, the mother and the son will arrive together from Simala, Sibonga and are expected to arrive at 5:00 p.m. wherein a pontifical and concelebrated mass at 5:30 p.m. will be held at the Pilgrim Center.

The image of Sto. Niño is on a five-day pilgrimage in Cebu and his mother’s home in Simala is his last church visitation, which culminates the 452nd Kaplag anniversary or the finding of the miraculous image in 1565.

The pilgrimage of Señor Sto. Niño together with his devotees and the rector of the Basilica arrived today, April 27, 2017, at around 11:00 a.m at Sibonga, Simala. It was followed by Sto. Niño mass at 12:00 n.n. to welcome his overnight stay in the Monastery of Holy Eucharist.
