On Oct. 6 and 7, a weekend when most of their peers are enjoying a reprieve from school and other daily responsibilities, twenty-nine young men and women answered the call and participated in the first leadership training camp of what will soon be the Creative Arts Ministry (CAM) of the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño de Cebu (BMSN Cebu).
As an answer to the call of service to the church, the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu (BMSN) Creative Arts Ministry (CAM) welcomed its members in their first general assembly last September 29, 2018 at the Aula Magna, Sto. Niño Pilgrim Center.
In solidarity with the people of Naga, the volunteers from the P-RESA, OSA CARES, BMSN Medical Team and ROTARY Club district 3860 distributed 1000 relief packs to the families affected by the landslide in Naga City, Cebu that happened on September 21, 2018.
Employees from Metrobank Cebu- Fuente Osmena branch along with some volunteers and representatives of the Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino de Cebu spent the weekend at Kinatarcan Island last July 1, 2018.
On May 26-27, 2018, a major relic “ex ossibus” (from the bones) of Saint Augustine of Hippo paid a pilgrim visit to Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño de Cebu.
